Summer continues at Harbour House with more bright, fresh exhibitions in the gallery.
Emma Carter and Nicky Stevenson return to the gallery with their annual summer exhibition of calm seascapes and quirky, contemporary images of fish, birds and reptiles. Visual Poets runs from Tuesday 4 until Sunday 16 August. There will be a special 'Meet the Artists' session on Sunday 9 August from 2 - 4 pm.

We then welcome Arthur Glendinning for his second solo exhibition at Harbour House. This year's collection of paintings, From Bantham to the Bay of Bengal, celebrates the beauty and playfulness of the world around us.
There will be a Gallery Talk with the Artist on Saturday 22 August at 11 am. Everybody is welcome to this informal event, and admission is free.

Another regular summer exhibitor, Mick Allen, brings his trademark collection of stunning panoramic photographs to Harbour House. In Home & Away, Mick explores the landscape and coastline of Carribean, Croatia and the Isles of Scilly as well as more familiar views of the South Hams. The exhibition runs from Tuesday 25 August until Sunday 6 September.

The Travelling Painter - Lance Clark
In the spring of 2010, the theme for our Open Art Exhibition is Positive Earth, and selectors are hoping for a wide range of interpretations exploring feelings towards and hopes for our planet and our environment. Brochures will be available soon.
Our arts classes are taking a break for the summer, but there's a full programme of classes lined up for the autumn.
