The first session will open on Tuesday 26 May at 6:00 p.m., and prestigious works of art will be put up for auction, such as I dioscuri, oil on canvas, by Giorgio de Chirico, 1960-67, estimated value 100.000/140.000 Euro; an intense oil on canvas by Renato Guttuso, 1962, Paesaggio di Velate, estimated value 40.000/60.000 Euro; an oil on wood representing Flowers in a glass (Fiori nel Bicchiere) by Filippo de Pisis, 1940, estimated value 32.000/38.000 Euro; and a painting dated 1958, La bottega dell’antiquario, by Achille Funi, estimated value 14.000/18.000 Euro.
During the same session, rare drawings by Sironi, de Pisis, Carrà, Guttuso, Tancredi will be auctioned, along with a rare marking pen on paper by Jean Dubuffet entitled La Garde, 1964, estimated value 15.000/18.000 Euro, and a sculpture by Arturo Martini, Fuga in Egitto, 1937, estimated value 14.000/18.000 Euro.

During the second session, which will open on 26 May at 7:00 pm, the remaining lots will be put up for auction and, mainly, works of contemporary art up to the most recent works.
Great interest is focused on the work Kunst=KAPITAL, a unique piece by the German master, Joseph Beuys, that consists of paint and a paintbrush and paint tin applied on Cibachrome, 225x100 cm, representing the artist inside the hall of a natural science museum and a huge mammoth skeleton behind him. The work, 1984, has an estimated value of 130.000/180.000 Euro.
In the same session, also on auction: Study for Heads Will Roll II by Robert Longo, a wonderful work of art dated 1984, tribute to David Byrne, the famous leader of the Talking Heads, 110x236x16 cm, with an estimated value of 55.000/75.000 Euro; a four-colour oil on paper by Joseph Albers entitled Homage to the Square, 1950, estimated value 40.000/60.000 Euro; a very refined Hans Hartung, acrylic on silk, dated 1974 and evaluated at 65.000/85.000 Euro.  
The auction also includes Photographs, the rare collection of 12 Andy Warhol’s pictures, published by the Bruno Bischofberger Gallery in 1980; pictures of personalities like Bianca Jagger, Salvador Dalì, Pope John Paul II, Liza Minnelli, Andy Warhol and so on taken by the artist; the collection is a limited edition in 250 specimens and it has an estimated value of 40.000/60.000 Euro.
During the same session, prestigious works will put up for auction: Robert Mapplethorpe (the picture Capri, only specimen dated 1983, estimated value 25.000/30.000 Euro), Keith Haring, Gilbert&George, Mimmo Paladino who has several works auctioned among which Il pane della storia, 1988, one of the sculptures which represent the most the ties of the international artist with his land of origin, Campania and Benevento area; the bronze sculpture is evaluated at 20.000/25.000 Euro; Pier Paolo Calzolari (a large oil and tempera on wood, 166x160 cm, dated 1982 from the series Capricci, estimated value 55.000/65.000 Euro); Michelangelo Pistoletto, Daniel Spoerri, Joseph Kosuth, Hermann Nitsch, Shozo Shimamoto, Man ray, Chia, Luigi Ontani, Sol Le Witt.
Great attention is paid to those artists who are hardly put up for auction in Italy, like Francio Alys, Vik Muniz, Elger Esser, Santiago Sierra, and Elisa Sighicelli, Perino and Vele, Daniele Galliano, Matteo Basilè.
Works of the important masters of the Italian contemporary art cannot be excluded: Carla Accardi, with a canvas dated 2007, 50x70 cm, estimated value 20.000/24.000 Euro, and a sicofoil dated 1969, 17x18 cm, estimated value 11.000/16.000 Euro; Mario Schifano, a few paintings and a paper dated 1963, entitled En plein air No.1, estimated value 22.000/26.000; Giulio Turcato, Emilio Vedova, Piero Dorazio, Mimmo Rotella, Roberto Crippa, Lucio Del Pezzo, Achille Perilli, Tano Festa, Giosetta Fioroni, Agostino Bonalumi, Piero Gilardi.
Last but not least, the auction also includes many great Neapolitan masters like Mario Persico, Giuseppe Desiato, Renato Barisani, Armando De Stefano and many others.
