World-renowned glass artists Ola Höglund and Marie Simberg-Höglund welcome you to discover the magic art of glassmaking. This ‘jungle glass studio’ is situated in the tropical rainforest nestled in the beautiful Whyanbeel Valley, approx. 40 minutes drive north of Port Douglas, bordering on the Daintree World Heritage National Park. In this lush and tranquil location of the ‘forest of rain’, Ola and Marie work on their glass art in a variety of glass making techniques, including glassblowing, fusing, slumping and painting. The gallery feature a wide range of handblown vases, bowls, platters, goblets, paperweights and glass jewellery. Visitors welcome 1 June - 31 October. 10am - 4pm (closed Wednesday & Thursday)
