A Slice of lemon within the Indonesian World of Art
O house gallery had been established from an interdisciplinary meeting involving architects, curators, artists, a music composer, a poet, a video-worker, and a graphic artists.
O house gallery serves as a gallery that tries to create an exhibition space in the same way as if it tries to seek and build a house for the works displayed.
Every exhibition is a world apart, and we therefore prepare it by viewing it as a terrain
where the visuals and the space are interwined
according to the character of the works and the vision for the exhibition.
We view the world of art as living history.
We do not merely work with contemporary artists;
we pay homage to the dead and we welcome the young.
We feel it necessary to form a network with other artistic disciplines,
with the performance art, and with art critics.
Art cannot walk alone
