Lake Tahoe’s Vista Gallery is the most progressive contemporary commercial art gallery at beautiful Lake Tahoe, California.
This unique gallery represents over 30 accomplished contemporary artists in a variety of original media, including printmaking, mixed-media, fine art landscape photography by 12 photographers, ceramics, painting and sculpture.
The contemporary art is balanced with an exclusive collection of over 2000 vintage and nostalgic photographic images. Most of this collection depicts life in Tahoe and the Sierra, from the late 1890’s to the early 1960’s. We also have a selection of original antique prints, maps and other nostalgic images. We have available a nice selection of local posters, contemporary satellite poster maps of the area and the classic limited edition antique, 1876 Lake Tahoe Map.
Vista Gallery is enhanced with custom picture services. We are very concerned with not only the display of art but the protection of art and keepsakes through conservation materials and the most effective and safest hanging hardware. We take extra care to educate our customers about good design concepts and the proper care and alternatives now available for framed art and keepsakes.
The view from the large picture windows affords the only real view (vista) of Lake Tahoe from any art gallery. Vista Gallery is located on the north shore on the California side, in the village of Tahoe Vista.
