Worldart specialises in the managing and marketing of artists and their art, while simultaneously providing a service that seeks to add value to the needs of those who appreciate and acquire art.
Worldart was founded in 2004 by Charl Bezuidenhout. He studied Law at the University of Stellenbosch and then spent five years travelling and working in Europe and the USA. Back in South Africa he became active in the music industry and the visual arts, where he pursued his passion for the arts and marketing. He has since established himself as a respected and dedicated participant in the arts environment.
Services
Worldart provides the following services:
Artist’s marketing and management. We believe that artists should focus their energy on being creative, free from the distractions that come with the marketing and selling of their work. To this extent Worldart plays an active role in managing the relationship between artist and gallery, pursuing marketing opportunities on various levels and structuring business deals with bigger clients.
Media liaison service. Worldart offers a comprehensive, project driven media liaison service aimed at ensuring maximum exposure for art exhibitions and other art related events.
The sourcing and selling of art. Worldart has an extensive and dedicated client base who are regularly yet unobtrusively informed about new releases by artists we work with. We also handle requests to source art.
The arrangement of packaging and shipment of art to any destination in the world. Worldart has extensive experience in the shipping of art to destinations worldwide. We work with the best shipping companies and offer a service that includes the tracking and close monitoring of the process, at very competitive rates.
